Arizona Golden Rescue

Sadie is another goofy Doodle dog. Weighing in at only 27 pounds, she is the junior version called a mini Goldendoodle; these small dogs are always very cute. At 6 years of age she was given to us because she didn’t like the owner’s toddlers and would leave the room rather than be with them. She loved to swim and had been trained to ring a bell when needing to go outside. Plus, she loved cats! Cats, not kids. An adoptive couple took her home to live with them and her new siblings, a miniature Aussie and a Goldendoodle. They sent us an update on her:

Sadie is a very happy dog and has adjusted well to her new home. She has two new playmates and happily romps with them all day. Word has it that she loves to swim but she hasn’t ventured into the pool yet – which, in my opinion, shows her intelligence. It’s still way too darn cold. She used to sleep in her crate at night but that was before she discovered how warm and comfortable a real bed is. I have to fight to get my own pillow back. This weekend she is going hiking. It really is a dog’s life. Way to go, Sadie!
