Hobbes is a 1-year-old Golden mix who was sprung from the MCACC shelter. Hobbes’ vetting was brought up to date, which included vaccines, valley fever testing and neuter surgery. Next, it was time to find the perfect forever home! An adoptive couple were the perfect fit! AGR did provide training classes to aide Hobbes in his new life. The adopters report: What a great dog to join our family and a wonderful companion, not only to us, but also to our two Miniature Schnauzers, Molly and Diesel. A year ago we had lost our 13-year-old female Golden, Benson, whom we felt was irreplaceable. When we saw Hobbes’ picture we couldn’t resist his handsome face and beautiful eyes. He was the best and longest “stayer” at his puppy class graduation and just loves to please, especially since he became the sole owner of a Wobble-Wag Giggle Ball and spends time between walks chasing it around the house. When we return to Canada he will have the experience of an oceanside home and many creeks and trails overlooking Ladysmith Harbour on Vancouver Island, and returning to the desert after the summer. While he is there he will be meeting and playing with Bella, a Great Pyrenees, and Rommel, a Doberman, who enjoy romping and swimming in Chemanius Lake. Thank you AGR! Looks like Hobbes will be leading a charmed life! More about HobbesGood with Dogs, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults
