Arizona Golden Rescue

Caleb, now known as Buddy, is an adorable Golden mix. He was rescued from the shelter at just 17 weeks old. How anyone let this cute little guy end up in the shelter beats the daylights out of me. I’m just glad we got him out and to a great home with his adoptive mom, where he is doing very well. He enjoys his daily walks with mom and sports a fancy halter which helps harness some of his puppy exuberance. Buddy also enjoys just plain running around and acting crazy. His adopter says one of his favorite things is to run in large circles. I’m sure it helps tire out this little guy. She brought Buddy to the holiday gift wrapping extravaganza at the Tempe Marketplace Barnes & Noble. Since we didn’t have a Donation Vest small enough for him, the AGR President suggested that the adopter just stick a dollar bill under the harness strap. At the end of the evening, Buddy had collected so many dollars, he looked like a porcupine.
