Preston, now known as Buddy, is a wonderful 10-year-old gentleman who was released to us from the shelter. He had some tummy trouble early on but is now doing very well and is getting reacquainted with a sleeker physique. His new parents have him on the green bean diet and he’s enjoying frequent walks. He’s also interacting with the other dogs in his new family, which is helping him stay active and lose weight. Buddy and his favorite blue bunny toy love to practice the Golden lean for petting and soak up all the attention. Like many of our rescues, particularly those that come in from the shelter, Buddy tested positive for valley fever. He’s doing well and is not on any medication right now, but he will require a recheck of his titer to ensure it does not increase and we don’t need to start medication. His new family fell in love with his Teddy bear face in his photo on our website and asked to adopt him. We wish Buddy, his bunny, and his new family a long and happy life together!
