In the year and a half now that I've had Jake, I've been so happy.  He's a hit with everyone who meets him and is especially great with my 5 grandchildren!  His favorite is swimming which he would love to do if allowed 24 hours a day!  He swims right alongside the kids and loves to fling himself into the pool chasing his balls.  He is a character though - 3 times I've had to take my toilet out because he managed to get his rubber ball stuck in it.  My son-in-law just last weekend found a great dog toy at Costco...it's a large strong plastic ball with grips on two sides for tug of war and two sides that squeak, with a tennis ball inside.  It's about the size of a soccer ball, but wouldn't you know when I got out of the shower last night, it was in the toilet (but at least it can't be flushed and then get stuck!)  Good thing I have a great neighbor who has come to the rescue and needless to say, we only have tennis balls now since they at least float, instead of the rubber balls that sank. 
 
Anyway, he's also been great with my two cats and it's so wonderful to have him!  I always let people know that he's a rescue and that you guys do such great work!  Thank you so much!
