We welcomed Maui into our home about 8 weeks ago. Maui has most certainly found her forever home. I would gather to say that no dog has ever been so spoiled so quickly or given so much love in return. Maui is our 10 month old golden and she is amazing. When my kids were 1 and 3 they lost their father in a plane crash, we had two dogs at the time. Both dogs were rather old and within about a year both passed as well. Mommy needed some time to be ready to welcome another family member and when I decided it was finally time the kids were overjoyed. Both my daughter and my son adore Maui and we take her everywhere with our little family. Maui has been hiking in Flagstaff numerous time including summiting Mt. Humphrey's and she has been whisked away to Show Low for a weekend in the mountains. Maui takes rides to school to drop the kids off and often can be found sleeping under their beds until our bedtime when she follows us to sleep. Maui is loving, faithful, and sweet, and our home is that much better because of her. Thanks to the Arizona Golden Rescue for allowing her to be a part of our home.
